General Membership
With a Chubby Mermaids General Membership, you’ll enjoy:
- Join groups for open water swims (Members swim at their own risk and acknowledge there are no life guards. Swims take place at public beaches.)
- Access to special members-only events
- Access to suggested swim training and strength-training workouts (members should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program)
- Your own Chubby Mermaids swim cap
- A 20% discount on Blue70 gear
- 15% discount for entry into the Mackinac Island Swim
For our inaugural year, we are taking members on a donation based membership with a suggested donation of $25. However, you can donate more if you wish, or less. For anyone facing economic hardship, no donation is required. Our goal is to support all women and make swimming accessible to all.
